Hi, I’m Sal — a qualified PE teacher, support worker, and absolute sports lover.
I love my AFL & NBA, I follow the Carlton Blues and Golden State Warriors.
I’ve worked with NDIS participants for years and understand how important inclusive, empowering physical activity can be!
My goal with All Play Active is to help people grow their confidence, build new skills, and have fun — all while working towards their NDIS goals.
As a qualified PE teacher and active support worker, I’ve seen first-hand how crucial movement is to the development and wellbeing of children and teens. Yet alarmingly, only 1 in 10 Australian children aged 5–17 meet the national guidelines for daily physical activity (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2022). Sedentary behaviour is also on the rise, with many young people spending over 2 hours per day on screens, not including schoolwork.
These trends are contributing to poorer physical, mental, and social health outcomes in young people. All Play Active was created to address this gap — through inclusive, engaging, and tailored sport-based programs that help young people of all abilities build confidence, connect socially, and develop lifelong healthy habits.
