Hi, I’m Sal!
As a qualified PE teacher and support worker, I’ve seen firsthand how the right kind of movement can change a young person’s life. Sport has always been my anchor—it’s where I found my health, my confidence, and my community.
Through years of working within the NDIS space, I realized that many kids weren't getting the chance to experience that same spark. That’s why I started All Play Active. My mission is to bridge the gap between NDIS goals and genuine fun. We’re not just 'exercising'; we’re building the skills and confidence your child needs to thrive, all in an environment that celebrates exactly who they are.
As a qualified PE teacher and active support worker, I’ve seen first-hand how crucial movement is to the development and wellbeing of children and teens. Yet alarmingly, only 1 in 10 Australian children aged 5–17 meet the national guidelines for daily physical activity (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare, 2022). Sedentary behaviour is also on the rise, with many young people spending over 2 hours per day on screens, not including schoolwork.
These trends are contributing to poorer physical, mental, and social health outcomes in young people. All Play Active was created to address this gap — through inclusive, engaging, and tailored sport-based programs that help young people of all abilities build confidence, connect socially, and develop lifelong healthy habits.
